Building confidence with a few lessons with extra tutoring targeted at the individual's weakest areas can make the difference in getting the best biology exam results .

In person tuition is often the preferred choice for teenagers after the pandemic and it often brings the best results - plus you don't have to drive because I will come to you! All we need is a table in a quiet area. Alternatively, if online is the preferred option for you we just need to decide a date and time.

Tuition can be on an individual basis or a group of friends wishing to study together - a venue can be hired for group tuition when required.

Subjects covered:

● Biology: low level to National 5, Higher, Advanced Higher
● Human Biology: Higher, Advanced Higher
● Environmental Science: low level to Higher
● BGE Science

Other subjects possible.

Prices:

1-2-1 tuition £35 per hour
Groups (two or more learners) £20 per hour each learner

In person tuition further than a 5 mile radius of Blairgowrie will be subject to an additional fuel cost of 45p per mile.

Sessions are welcomed Mondays to Fridays daytime and evening, plus weekends by arrangement in Blairgowrie or Stirling (the above fuel cost does not apply to Stirling).

Terms and Conditions

I accept bookings of four lessons a month and payment in full is required before the first lesson.
Cancellation policy: four weeks notice of cancellation is required.
Booking holiday: a pre-booked delay of two sessions can be arranged and these will be credited to the following month.
Unfortunately if the learner is ill, no refund can be given but rescheduling can be discussed.
Arrangements will always be made direct to learner's parent or guardian, unless over 18 years old.
Safeguarding: I recommend parents / guardians remain in the vicinity while I am tutoring pupils under 18.
My time with the learner will start 5 mins after I arrive at the house.
By making a booking, you accept these terms and conditions.
The first lesson will be same cost but will be free of any further contract for future lessons - this to make sure both the child and myself are happy to continue with the lessons. If both parties are happy, we can arrange payment for a 4 week block of lessons.
Payment is made through Paypal. Once you have booked your lesson via email or phone with myself, please pay the lesson in advance on the button below (you don't need to have a paypal account - there is a button to pay by debit / credit card). Your lessons are booked once they are paid for. After the first lesson, lessons should be booked in blocks of 4 weekly lessons.
